Chara Music Department students present "Believe, a Christmas Concert" on December 5th and 6th at Friendswood Friends Church. Day and time assignments are listed below as well as a link to Recital details.

Concert Admission
Donations Appreciated!

Admission is free. As part of the ongoing commitment to service at Chara, during this concert we are supporting CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Galveston County. This volunteer run organization supports and advocates for children in the foster care system. Their needs include gift certificates where clothing can be purchased for children, especially for teens 

– places like Target, Old Navy, Wal-Mart, and retail department stores. A basket will be available for your donations in the church lobby – thank you for your support!

Lessons resume on Saturday, January 2nd, 2021 after the holidays.
Congratulations to Megan Treadwell!


Our congratulations to Music Instructor Megan Treadwell, who will graduate in December 2020 from the University of Houston Moores School of Music.

Her degree is a Bachelors in Music with emphasis on vocal study and a Minor in Marketing. Megan shares her talents at Chara in Voice and Piano instruction.

Get into the Christmas spirit and watch talented Chara students Macy Yarnold and Rylee Johnson perform in Joyful Theater's production of "Elf, the Musical." Showtimes at Heights Baptist Church in Alvin are December 3 and 4 @7:00 pm, and Dec. 5 @ 10:30 and 2:00pm.
