Let me first say that we have missed you all! Not having the carousel open has been exceedingly difficult.
As our county has moved into Phase One, the Carousel will remain closed until Phase Two, with the exception of our Gift Shop. We will be opening on May 28th, with limited days and hours. Thursday and Friday 12:00-5:00 and Saturdays 10:00-2:00. We will also offer curbside delivery as well. The Gift Shop will be limited to 6 shoppers at one time and we do ask that you bring and wear a mask.
As soon as we can safely open up in Phase Two, we will do this with safety our number one priority. We will share these new changes as we prepare our reopening in the future.
I know things will be different for a while. I know change can be hard, but these are unprecedented times and we must remember:
Our Top Priority is to have our Carousel identified as a place where people can enjoy a fun, safe, and healthy experience while preventing the spread of the virus. We want everyone, including our staff, volunteers, and the public, to remain healthy and safe during and after their visit at the Albany Historic Carousel & Museum.
