Hi, Everyone.
I hope you had a great Mother’s Day weekend. It was quiet here. My daughter and her children live way too far away, and so I spent the day reading and drinking hot tea. In its own way, it was a lovely day.

So, what do I have for you for Mother’s Day? Two specials. A free book, Once A Wife, from my Mother’s Heart series.  It's a great way to get a taste of this heart-warming series about mothers. Plus, I'm holding a raffle for a lovely Swarovski Necklace. Go here for details on how to enter.

Also, I recently posted my Favorite Reads from 2018 (I know, I’m slow at this whole newsletter thing).  I would love to hear your thoughts on any of these books, or what you read that you loved.  I'm always looking for new books and authors. Just use the comment section below the review page to let me know.

I also posted a new review of another Barbara O’Neal Book.  As usual, I loved it.  Take a look.

So, that's it for now except to let you know what's coming up.  In June, I'm on my way to Eastern Europe for a dream trip.  I'm going to "try" to post pictures to Instagram . . . though I haven't yet figured that out.  LOL!!!   Wish me luck!   Here's my Instagram Link if you want to follow me on my travels.

Mother's Day Blog Posts

In the past, I've written about my Mom, and in the process learned something about myself as a daughter. It wasn’t a particularly pleasant realization, but one I needed to understand. Go take a look, and if your mom is still alive, don’t make the same mistake. Also, I'd love to hear your thoughts on your own mom.

I've also  posted about “being” a mom and what the birth of my daughter meant to me. Here’s the link: On Being a Mom.  Again, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Favorite Reads of 2018

Check out my favorite reads of 2018 and let me know what you think.  Have you read any of the books on my list? Did you love them as much as I did? Also, I'd love to hear what you read and loved.

Here's just a few of my favorites.

All The Light We Cannot See

Great historical  fiction.

The Great Alone

Woman's fiction. Kristen Hannah does it again.

Nevernight

Most imaginative fantasy I've read in a long time.
