The Australian Government Building Better Regions Fund (BBRF) supersedes the previous National Stronger Regions Fund (NSRF). The BBRF puts high priority on projects which can clearly demonstrate the delivery of long term economic, social and community benefits, and the creation of new FTE jobs.  Read more....

Building Better Regions Fund
Applications for Round 1 of the Australian Government Building Better Regions Fund (BBRF) open on Wednesday 18th January, 2016.  This fund will see regional communities partner with governments and stakeholders to take full advantage of a range of economic and regional development opportunities that can make a real difference.

Whyalla Men's Shed Microsoft Refurbisher Program
The Whyalla Men's Shed is a Microsoft Registered Refurbisher which allows them to provide genuine Microsoft software on refurbished PCs for community citizens at very low prices.

Community Grants Hub
The Department of Social Services Community Grants Hub website offers information about grant opportunities for community services from the Department of Social Services (DSS) and other Commonwealth Agencies.

Volunteer Grants
The Australian Government is inviting organisations and individuals representing volunteer based community groups to apply for Volunteer Grants.  Applications close at 2:00pm AEDT, Tuesday 20th December, 2016.

John Wallis Foundation Small Grants Program
The 2017 John Wallis Foundation's Small Grants Program is focussed on disadvantage rural, regional and remote areas of Australia.  Projects need to demonstrate that they are addressing the relief of social and economic distress, and entrenched geographical disadvantage, through locally led action.
