Dear USET/USET SPF Family,
The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) has issued a Dear Tribal Leader Letter on the development of a National Spectrum Strategy. Spectrum are radio frequencies critical to national security, critical infrastructure, transportation, emergency response, and public safety. It is also a key underpinning of fixed and mobile wireless broadband communications used by the public. Recognizing that spectrum is a finite resource, the U.S. has committed to developing a National Spectrum Strategy to ensure that it is managed responsibly and efficiently to support current and future needs. NTIA has also published in the Federal Register a Request for Comment where Tribal Nations can file comments to regulations.gov under Docket ID No. NTIA-2023-0003. Comments are due Monday, April 17, 2023.
