CPA Canada and the GSS are partnering up for a free tax information session.

This 60-minute session will teach you how to understand taxes and filing your income tax return, as well as contribution limits and non-taxable income. It also outlines deductions and credits that are specific to you as a student.

Did you know? As a UBC Vancouver graduate student, you're automatically a member of both the GSS and the AMS (Alma Mater Society). The AMS is an umbrella student union that includes all undergrad and grad students, and provides key support services to us.

The UBC Senate and Board of Governors are decision-making bodies of the University, which includes student representatives.

AMS Peer Support is a free mental health and harm reduction service providing one-on-one peer support for UBC students. They are trained to talk about academic stress, anxiety, burnout, depression, substance use, relationships, grief, and more. They also distribute free safer sex and safer substance use supplies.
