I think that this week's newsletter is the best one we've made for quite some time!
The team and I have loved putting together the articles this week as there's been so much to talk about...
Events are back and I've genuinely felt a bit emotional as it's the first time it's really felt like the pre-pandemic era when there were events to talk about every week around Hull. So I'm delighted to introduce 12 11 amazing events happening in Hull this week (one got cancelled!)
I've also loved reading this week's foodie article about doughnuts which are on the rise. Sadly not as fast as Covid cases, but fast enough! (I might have felt emotional at that one too)
And we can look forward to a Summer of festivals around Hull.... live music, drinks and food in the open-air. I can't wait!
I hope you enjoy this week's newsletter. Don't forget, we have plenty of news stories every day now so if you'd like to keep up with it, our new Daily Dose brings you the latest stories every evening by email. Just go to your subscription settings and tick 'Daily Dose of Hull News', then 'Save Changes'.
The full-fat clubbing experience is back, and Hull’s venues are open to celebrate. This week in Hull we’ve got live-music gigs, as well as stand-up comedy, and some amazing club nights. SIX the musical was also scheduled for this week, but only just got cancelled yesterday 😌
Now that legal covid restrictions have ended, there is a whole host of new opportunities for events and festivals to take place across our region, this summer. We’ve rounded up some of the best music, drinks and food festivals that Hull & East Yorkshire has to offer!
Of all the various delicacies America has kindly given us- Twinkies, Smores, Corn Dogs, none have entranced the British populace quite so much as the Doughnut. Thankfully, Hull boasts a handful of culinary establishments dedicated to providing the local population with fulfilling and creative doughnuts at a reasonable price.
You might not know it, but things are changing in Hull. This city has been changing constantly over the past 15 years and there’s plenty more in the pipeline that you can start to get excited about.
