Prayer requests from Resonate Global Mission missionaries and ministry leaders
Prayer Points

Prayer Points from ministry leaders around the world:

  • Pray for places throughout the world that are experiencing surges in Covid-19 cases. Phnom Penh, Cambodia, recently went into a two-week lockdown. Resonate missionary Justin Van Zee, who serves and lives in the city, says that many people live day-to-day and this lockdown has caused significant hardships.

  • Give thanks for the many churches who have served with Resonate throughout the world on volunteer service and learning trips! The coronavirus pandemic disrupted many of these opportunities, but we’re looking forward to a time when we can travel and serve again. Pray for churches who have rescheduled volunteer trips.

  • Pray for Resonate partner campus ministries throughout Canada and the United States. Give thanks for each campus minister and their community of faculty, students, and staff who are bearing witness to Christ on campuses. Pray that many more people will come to know Christ through these ministries.

  • The CRC church has been growing in Sierra Leone! Resonate missionary Istifanus Bahago asks you to pray for pastors and their families. Ask God to encourage them in their ministries.

  • Pray for Emmanuel CRC in Illinois as they serve the community and build relationships with neighbors. They've seen God answering prayers.

  • Give thanks for the way the Holy Spirit is working through Compa, a campus ministry that Resonate missionaries James and Barbarita Lee partner with in Mexico. A university student who is a new Christian attended a Compa retreat and was deeply encouraged in spending time with other believers. Please pray for this student as she continues to grow in Christ.

Your Prayer Matters!

We recently asked you to pray for Resonate missionaries who are sharing the gospel in West Africa. Thank you for praying!

While shopping at a market, your Resonate missionary recently had an opportunity to share the gospel with people from a Muslim background. Over time, your missionary has gotten to know sellers in the market.

"They rarely have occasion to speak to a follower of Jesus, but after several years of us getting to know them and being a part of their lives, they now really enjoy engaging us in serious theological discussion," said your missionaries.

One of the sellers wanted to discuss what it means to follow God! Praise God! Please pray that the Holy Spirit continues working in this man's heart!
