October is nearly over! I'm not quite sure how that happened but November is just around the corner with frosty mornings already here in Scotland! If you need a cosy new cowl to snuggle into I have just the pattern for you...
When I designed Buinne a couple of years ago, this is what I really wanted to make. At the time though, I just couldn't get the idea to work. I still loved the idea though, and I've thought about it many times over the last couple of years. This year I was determined to make it work!
I'm not sure anyone has done this before so I made up a couple of stitches and I love how it's turned out! The pattern has full photo tutorials for every stitch from cast-on to bind-off, and there's a long and short length to choose from!

I only had time to knit a sample of the long length cowl - it's my favourite length because I love being able to double it up, and when I take photos it gives me more styling options! A couple of my testers made the short size, so head over to my blog if you want to check out photos!
My next pattern is currently nameless and unfinished! The pattern is written though and off to my tech editor so this week I'm aiming to get the mitts finished and ready for testing next week!
