Summer meals can be so simple yet so flavorful and nutritious using the fresh, locally-grown produce you find from your farmers at KSQ!
Green beans, corn, cabbage, summer squash, zucchini can all be prepared with quick cooking like steaming, boiling or sautéing — and elevated with the addition of freshly chopped herbs tossed in at the end.
Sliced tomatoes and cucumbers are quick sides on their own — or transform them into simple salads with a touch of oil, vinegar, and an abundance of fresh herbs like basil, cilantro or mint.
Sweet peaches and berries topping a dish of plain local yogurt make a delectable breakfast or dessert!
Keep reading for all the local goodness you can find this Friday to enjoy simply delicious meals all week. (Preorders continue to be appreciated by producers offering the option.)
See you Friday 3–6pm, rain or shine!

Stay tuned for details about special guest vendors + community partners! And plan to attend a 4pm presentation by Meagan Hopkins-Doerr, Master Watershed Steward Coordinator, to learn about ruby-throated hummingbirds and how we can support all kinds of birds in our own backyard.
