Financial Secretary

If you are interested in in the Finacial Secretary’s position please let one of the council members know as Karla Simmons has agreed to stay on until a replacement is found!

Presidents Letter

With Fall in the air it is time to take a moment to pray about stepping up as a council member as the President, Treasure and two Members at Large will be stepping down from the council. Also available is the Financial Secretary position as Karla is looking to step down and this will be the remainder of a two year term that ends January 2020. The nominating committee will be calling you to see if you are interested in being on the church council.  Please pray about helping out the church with your time and great talent that you give to your fellow church members.

It looks like tithe.ly is working well for those who are using it now as a way to give their offering/tithing to the church.  This is a simple way to give the church your offering/tithing and is easy to set up so you do not have to write a check or give cash.  You are able to see and keep track of the amount given to the church.  As a reminder only the Financial Secretary is able to see who has given and add this to the persons pledge that they gave at the beginning of the year and help the Financial Secretary do their end of the month reports.

If you have not turned in your time and talent survey please do so as this will help the council make the most of your time and talents for the good of the church.  Please see the link below to download your time and talent survey or pick up at church on any Sunday.   Bob Ely, Sunni Leggate, Alice Person, Sandy Stull and I met on September 29th to review the committees as outlined in the Constitution and bi-laws and made a few changes. These changes will be brought up at the October council meeting for the council to approve and then reviewed and voted on at the Congregational meeting in January 2019.

Blessing of God,

Marcie Vallejo – President
