Winter Reading Program

Snuggle up with your child and share the love of reading! Tazewell County Public Library’s Winter Reading Program is designed for kids birth thru 6 years. Beginning in February you can pick up a reading log and sticker sheet at any library location. Complete 25 books and your child will receive a certificate. Read aloud to your kids 20 minutes every day and prepare them for a lifelong love of reading.

Join the Friends of the Lilbrary

The Friends of the Tazewell County Public (TCPL) Library is a non-profit (501-c-3), volunteer organization, created to support and enhance the library’s programs and services, and to sponsor programs and events that will support TCPL’s mission and goals. We welcome community members to join us in our efforts to support and enhance our library’s services.  Members may participate in our regular meetings (2nd Thursday of each month, posted in the Friends section of the library page), help to sort books and stock the carts at any of the libraries, help with special events, serve on committees, or be content with paying their annual dues. For more information, please see our Friends brochure at one of our libraries, or e-mail tcplfol@gmail.comLearn More
