Winter 2017

Hi, Friends!

Happy 2017! I hope your new year is off to a great beginning with the promise of many wonderful things in store! (Keep reading--you might find some surprises later in this newsletter!)

After several weeks of passing around whatever cough and cold viruses have been circulating this winter, our household finally seems to be on the mend. It's been a little harder avoiding germs since our daughter's family of six came to live with us in November. They're in the process of selling their home and preparing for another sojourn on the mission field, so we'll have them with us until sometime next summer.

It's especially fun having a sweet and creative middle-school granddaughter who loves to draw and write stories. Here's the cover of the book she made the family for Christmas, the story of clever but bumbling detective Bea Fuddle!

Her kindergarten-age sister is a fashionista who loves taking selfies, playing loud music, and making iPad videos. When she's home from school and playing with granddaughter number 3 (age 3), things are NOT conducive to quiet writing time! At least their high-school-age big brother is mostly quiet except for watching his car shows on Netflix.

The Latest Book News

Coming this spring . . . A Rose So Fair, Book 3 in my Flowers of Eden series. For all of you who've been waiting for spunky Rose Linwood's story, the book is in production and will soon be released in both print and ebook formats!

If you need to catch up on the first two books, find ordering information here:

The Sweetest Rain (Book 1)

Castles in the Clouds (Book 2)

Coming later this summer, a Love Inspired contemporary romance! Watch for Her Hill Country Cowboy (tentative title), featuring a plucky social worker, her matchmaking service dog, and a handsome cowboy who's a single dad and manager of a Texas Hill Country guest ranch.

If you've read my first Love Inspired romance, Rancher for the Holidays, don't miss the sequel, Worth the Risk, a novella set in the ruggedly beautiful Big Bend Country of West Texas. The story is part of the Love Will Find a Way collection, along with novellas by award-winning authors Cara Lynn James and Sandra Leesmith.  (That's my Montana daughter and son-in-law featured on the cover!)
