It is with great pleasure that the AAMT President and Council announce the appointment of Dr Duncan Rayner as the new Chief Executive Officer of AAMT. Duncan will take up the position in July 2018. He was most recently Faculty General Manager, Faculty of Science and Engineering at Flinders University and is currently undertaking some independent consulting work. NMSS Director

The National Mathematics Summer School is conducted by AAMT and ANU and is looking to appoint a Director for the schools in January 2019, 2020 and 2021 (i.e. three years). It is an honorary, part-time position that will appeal to mathematics professionals who wish to contribute by fostering the talents of some of our brightest young mathematicians. [featured resource] Adam Spencer's 12 Days of Christmas

Adam Spencer’s 12 Days of Christmas is a funny, distinctly Australian take on the classic Christmas song. Beautifully illustrated by Roy Chen (there’s even a farmer wearing his hat with corks), it’s the perfect way to celebrate the festive season, while simultaneously learning to count. A great stocking filler!
