We are delighted to announce the fourth consecutive edition of HCL Grant – The HCL Grant 2018-19! This edition of HCL Grant remains focussed on rural development in the categories of Environment, Health and Education.

As you are aware, HCL Grant is one of the biggest CSR Grants of India, which identifies NGOs doing path-breaking work in rural development through an institutionalized, independent, robust and democratic process. It is the participation of NGOs from all states of India and Union Territories, that makes it so unique. It is such a pleasure to inform you that the application process for HCL Grant 2018-19 is now open and we welcome your participation in the process

The total committed fund for HCL Grant is ₹15 Crores (US$2.3Million) for the year 2018 – 19. Through HCL Grant, HCL Foundation will award ₹ 5 Crores (US$0.8Million) per category, per NGO, against a well-defined 5 years project.

The HCL Grant has been endorsed by the most superior leadership of the country, the Former President of India - Shri. Pranab Mukherjee,  Honorable Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs - Shri. Arun Jaitely, and Honorable Home Minister - Shri. Rajnath Singh who felicitated the HCL Grant Recipient NGOs in 2016, 2017 & 2018, respectively. 

HCL Grant, through Edition I, II & III has already committed ₹ 35 Crore (US$5.4Million) towards high quality projects in the years 2015-16, 16-17 & 17-18. Through this commitment, the HCL Grant supported projects aim to cover 8,09,906 people in 3,567 villages in 26 districts across 12 states of India. These projects are already operational in the states of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, West Bengal, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Jharkhand and Maharashtra through HCL Grant Recipient NGOs – Going to School, Child in Need Institute, Meljol, Foundation for Ecological Security, Eleutheros Christian Society, Sightsavers India and Keystone Foundation.

Through edition 4, the HCL Grant envisions to identify another set of NGOs doing phenomenal work. As always, this is a fresh edition. NGOs that registered and applied before are welcome to participate again. HCL Grant gives a fresh look to each application every year.

Committed to establish an institutional mechanism in the field of CSR and ensure sustainable rural development, the HCL Grant keeps the legacy of rolling out its fourth edition, with applications process starting on April 4th. The last date of receiving applications is June 4th, 2018.

Please note that HCL Grant receives applications online only. The process is considered complete only after you have filled up all forms and submitted. Only registration is not considered an application.
