Paradox Bound by Peter Clines

Hey ,

This week’s book is Paradox Bound by Peter Clines, a breakneck time travel thriller.

Meet Eli Teague, resident of small town Sanders, Maine—maybe the only town with a surviving video store and definitely the most boring place in America.

That is, until a traveler roars into his life in a steampunked Model-A Ford, and becomes his obsession.

His pursuit of this mysterious traveler—and whatever is pursuing her—leads him into a dizzying world full of competing factions and figures straight out of legend.

Like the main characters in the Model A, this story had me hanging onto my rumble seat through the whole ride.

If weaving a mythical quest in with 200 years of American history isn’t enough for you, this book also features secret societies, classic cars, and maybe the best twist on the John Henry legend I’ve ever read.

Read it, enjoy it, let us know what you thought in the Facebook group.

See you next week with another SFF book.
