The Greatest Showman Sing-A-Long & Special Menu!

Due to overwhelming public demand we are delighted to be bringing back to the Riverside for two screenings, The Greatest Showman! However, this time we are screening the new Sing-a-long version, so you can all sing your hearts out.

The two screenings are on Tuesday 27th February at 7:45pm and Saturday 3rd March at 2:30pm.

Our restaurant has also put together a special pre-screening menu for the tuesday performance which you can see here

Awards Season Movies

Awards Season is upon us and over the next four weeks we are showing seven of the nine films nominated for an Academy Award for Best Picture, plus the Disney Pixar film, Coco, which has been nominated for Best Animated Feature and which won the BAFTA in the same category recently.

Michael Caine's 85th Birthday Party!

A special event coinciding with Michael Caine’s milestone 85th birthday, on Wednesday 14th March the engaging and evocative documentary, MY GENERATION will be broadcast LIVE via satellite from the BFI Southbank to cinemas across the UK and Ireland followed by a Q&A with the iconic star.

British film icon Michael Caine narrates and stars in ‘My Generation’, the vivid and inspiring story of his personal journey through 1960s London. Based on personal accounts and stunning archive footage this feature-length documentary film sees Caine travel back in time to talk to The Beatles, Twiggy, David Bailey, Mary Quant, The Rolling Stones, David Hockney and other star names.

The film has been painstakingly assembled over the last six years by Caine working with Producer Simon Fuller, Writers Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais and Director David Batty to tell the story of the birth of pop culture in London, through the eyes of the young Michael Caine.

Live Broadcast Information

The Royal Opera House (ROH) live broadcast of The Winter's Tale on 28th February is almost sold out, with just 9 tickets remaining.

The ROH broadcast of Carmen on 6th March has sold out, but we have organised an encore screening for Sunday 18th March at 2pm, tickets now on sale.

Lady Windermere's Fan on the 20th March has sold out, but we have arranged an encore screening for Sunday 25th March at 4:30pm, tickets now on sale.

We still have tickets left for the National Theatre Live production of Julius Ceaser on 22nd March at 7pm starring Ben Whishaw, Michelle Fairley, David Morrissey and David Calder.

The Royal Ballet celebrates the centenary of Leonard Bernstein’s birth with an all-Bernstein programme from Wayne McGregor, Liam Scarlett and Christopher Wheeldon on 27th March at 7:15pm

Finally, the live broadcast of An American in Paris on the 16th May has already sold out, but we now have an encore on sale for Sunday 20th May at 3pm.
