Giving online

You don't have to write a check each week, if you want you can give online.  Follow the link below and you can give your weekly donation, or give donations for the Food Bank, Craft Fairs, or others.

Don't worry though, you can still give money or checks on Sunday if you want to - this is just one more option for you

Camp Fire, affecting Paradise, California

We would like to invite you join us in supporting our brothers and sisters in Christ, who have recently lost so much as the Camp Fire destroyed the town of Paradise, California.  It is at times of great hardship, such as this one, that the Lord calls all of us to work together to ease the suffering and hardship of our neighbors.

Please pray for all of the people who have been touched by this fire, and please give what you can in an effort to make the next few months easier as they try to put their lives back together.

You can give online using the button below, or in person if you would prefer.  We are collecting until 9th December

    Council Election in January

The available positions are:  President, Treasurer, 2 members at large, and the Financial Secretary.

Please pray about the positions as we need someone like you to step up and help out the church by being part of the Church Council

    2019 Calendars are here

We have calendars available for $3 each at the Lutheran Center

    Presidents Letter

This month we will be talking about pledges for the church.  On Sunday December 2nd Bob (Treasurer) will give a talk about what the budget for 2019 might look like and Karla (acting Financial Secretary) will talk about how you can make a difference to the church by pledging an amount that is between you and God.  This pledge can only be seen by the Financial Secretary and gives the Treasurer the total amount pledged by the congregation.  The Treasurer will than take the amount that was pledged to make a budget for 2019 that based upon the expenses of 2018.

As you know in January we will being having our Annual Congregational Meeting and be voting on President, Treasure, and 2 Members at Large (term is February 2019-January 2021) and the Financial Secretary (term will end January 2020).  Please keep praying about your time and talents that you can give to the church.

We will also be voting on the changes that the council approved on the Committees as outlined in the Constitution and By-Laws.  Each Committee will have a Sub-Committee(s) under that Committee that is continuously happening at the church through the year. An example of this is under the Worship Committee there are two Sub- Committees: 1) Bulletins Preparations and 2) Pulpit Supply Pastors or under the Outreach Committee you have nine Sub-Committees: 1) Craft Fair & Bake Sale, 2) Christmas Parade, 3) Fourth of July Parade, 4) God’s Work Our Hand Sunday, 5) Millennium Park clean up, 6) Relay for Life, 7) Spootacular event at City Hall, 8) The Sunshine Committee, & 9) Yard Sale and Bake Sale.  These Sub-Committees are very important to the growing of our church and spreading the love and word of Jesus thru your time and talents.  We are creating a binder that has all of the Committees and Sub-Committees listed and what each Committee and Sub-Committee entails along with step by step directions as needed.

    Blessing of God,
