Spring is Marching in!

Or at least it seems to be doing just that here in New York. We've had a few warm days this week and it's been lovely.

This month has flown by so fast, I don't know where to start. I've moved (again!) to a beautiful new place in one of my favorite neighborhoods. We'd been hoping and working to get into this particular building for almost a year now, so I feel like we've come to the end of a long journey. Of course, that means we've got a new journey ahead of us. I'm excited to see what the future holds!

New beginnings—that's what this month has been about. I started a new workout routine, have been plotting some new fiction, wrote a few new poems, and every day I look for what's new in my life. The thing about looking for something new in your life everyday is that you start to notice just how much you already have. I've had so much to be grateful for this past month.

That includes your patronage, dear friends. I always say that your support means the world to me, and that's because it truly does. You, specifically, , have a special place in my heart for being a part of my newsletter community.

Stick around; I've got a few new things coming to you this year. Some time this summer, you'll get to hear about the poetry collection I've been putting together, as well as some big updates on Lullaby of the Lilitu. (Speaking of, I've already begun plotting the second book!)

February has whizzed right on by, and I'm still playing catch-up. There have been so many changes in the last week alone, and I can't express just how grateful I am to know you're in my corner.

Don't forget to find me on Youtube and subscribe to catch my videos every Wednesday.

Thank you a thousand times!

Love always,

V.

Fiction BOTM

This book speaks to me on a few different levels. It's a classic already, but I've only just read it. Octavia Butler has a way of making you feel like you're part of the world--even if that world is terrifying. Check this one out. You might regret it if you don't!

Non-Fic BOTM

You may think that numerology is all woo-ey nonsense, but the academic community has known for years that such a narrow-minded idea couldn't be further from the truth. If you're struggling with understanding yourself or others around you, take a look at the numbers. This book is perfect for people of all faiths, and it makes numbers fun and easy to understand. Don't miss this one!
