Prof. Datin Paduka Khatijah is one of six recipients of Anugerah Merdeka 2015

Dean of  Biotechnology and Biomolecular Sciences Faculty, UPM, Profesor Datin Paduka Dr. Khatijah Mohamad Yusoff has been picked as one of the country’s six excellent individuals to receive the Anugerah Merdeka 2015. She was chosen due to her vast and meaningful contributions in the field of virology and microbiology as well as diagnosis of infectious diseases that could lead to deaths in livestock and poultry and her research on the potential of virus in fighting cancerous cells. READ MORE

UPM launches book on Sustainability of Bio-Jetfuel in Malaysia

Institute of Tropical Forestry and Forest Products (INTROP), UPM has recently launched a book on “Sustainability of bio-Jetfuel in Malaysia”.The aim of the research project is to determine the most suitable feedstocks to ensure that any future jet fuel production in Malaysia is based only on sustainable solutions. READ MORE
