Engaging Part-time Office Cleaner - Update 1 (Replies)
We wish to engage part-time office cleaner (individual). The working hours is like 2 days per week and 4 hours per visit. Are we suppose to comply to MOM part-time regulation? Need to provide basic WMC, CPF, AL etc? Please advice
There is a separate regulation for working less than 35 hours per week. Refer to MOM Part-Time Employees Regulation.
Answer is Yes. As long as they are working for less than 35 hours a week, they are deemed as Part-Time employees under the law.
