Although the Easter Bank Holiday weekend falls later in the month, the Easter school holidays have already begun in some areas.

Whether you are visiting before, during or after the Easter weekend you will find that there is plenty going on.  To make planning your visit easier we have created an Easter in Keswick page on our website.

Keswick Jazz & Blues Festival

The 2019 Keswick Jazz & Blues Festival takes place from 9th - 12th May. Four days of the very best in New Orleans, Swing and Classic Jazz and Blues with guest stars and bands from the US, Canada, Europe and the UK.

You can buy day tickets and 3 or 4 day stroller passes.  There is a fantastic range of musicians performing at a variety of venues around Keswick.  The town will literally be alive with the sound of Jazz & Blues.  It's a popular event so don't forget to book your accommodation too.

Village Of The Month - Bassenthwaite

The attractive village of Bassenthwaite, a mile and a half from the shores of the lake of the same name, is situated six miles north of Keswick and a similar distance from Cockermouth. The village has a traditional village green, and a stream, complete with ducks.

Walk of the Month - Dodd Wood

In Dodd Wood you will find a network of waymarked trails through some huge Douglas firs. The routes range from short trails of 1-1.5 miles to the longer and steeper Dodd summit trail. If you follow the track up to the top of Dodd you'll be rewarded with fabulous 360 degree views.
