It seems these days that the word “Faith” is popping up. Faith can be about God, a person or something that you believe in. What about faith in co-workers? How about faith in family and friends? Or could it be faith in God or our fellow members of the congregation & council? What type of Faith do you believe in?
Faith is different for everybody. It seems your faith can be strong one day and the next day it has dimmed! Have you ever asked yourself why or how can this be? What happens when faith is no longer around? Faith is about trials, suffering, tribulations, & sacrifice given to us by God. God gives us these things because he wants us to know that he is there thru the good times and the bad times. That he will answer us in his time and not our time. He wants us to learn and grow strong from our mistakes and to show us that we need to have faith in him, our heavenly Father.
In Matthew 9:29, Jesus said “According to your faith be it unto you.” What does this mean to you? Our thoughts and actions reflect the thoughts and actions of our faith that we show to others. This is a natural way in which we trust, our in-sights, our senses, human wisdom and out strength we show to others and others show to us! Faith is my choice between that of God or the position where I must struggle through life by myself for myself. That is why I trust, obey & rely on God in my journey of faith.
