Jennifer Amriss- Intense, Action-Packed Fantasy. Reality is Overrated.

First off, an apology.

I know I've missed a few weeks worth of newsletter-y goodness, and I'm super sorry about that. Life kicked me in the teeth, but I'm bouncing back! And I'm glad, because I missed you. ♥

And, since I'm back just in time for Mage of Legend to go live, here's the official graphic of officialness!

For those of you who haven't heard, Mage of Legend is Velithor's story. You meet Velithor for the first time in Race Against the Dark as the shy and adorable white-haired hunter who travels with Morough, Lin'ra, and Sol'kyr. He's awkward as anything in a social setting, but in the forest? Couldn't get a more confident and skilled hunter, tracker, and trapper.

Mage of Legend is the first book in a two-book side series to the Kings of Kal'brath series. There will be several of these little side series (and possibly a longer one at a later date). As the first half of a whole, I wanted to let you know that if you hate cliff-hangers, you may want to wait until book 2 comes out so you can read them back to back. Book 2, Dragon Court, comes out May 3rd! It's already in edits! (A super cute short story will come in April, and will be FREE to my newsletter peeps!) Book 2 also brings back other favorites from the main series. Ka'lei, Elan, Morough, and even Kordan come to take part!

If you're okay with a cliff-hanger, click on over and get your copy today! It's available for free in KU, or $2.99 to buy!

Life for Clover Kwon couldn’t be much worse. A year has passed since she witnessed the brutal death of her boyfriend, Frankie, and even with the help of a therapist she is unable to come to terms with what she saw that night. It doesn’t help matters that her mother is a raging alcoholic, her father is a philanderer and everyone in her hometown thinks she’s crazy. And she’s apt to believe them.

Jared Van Clayborne seems to have it all. He is a gorgeous, newly-turned vampire, an heir to a fortune and his mentor, Sutton, is the daughter of Dracula. On the inside, he’s a mess. Atrocities he’s committed in the past year torture his thoughts, he is miserably failing high school and has no hope for the future. Jared is forced into counseling, but because he must keep his vampirism a secret, it hasn’t helped.

Jared makes a desperate decision one night, but fate brings him face to face with Clover, a girl he had a crush on when they were in elementary school. A passionate magnetism draws them to one another. They both have secrets, but find solace in each other’s arms.

When Clover uncovers the dark truth about Chapel Green’s inhabitants she is torn between vengeance and love for her greatest enemy. Now, not only is her sanity at stake, but also her life.

Summer’s Deadly Kiss is book one in the The Vampire Inheritance Saga. Contains LGBT themes.

I am Blair Sheach. Screw up. Outcast. Wizard. My life will never be the same. Let's just say, new found powers do not a hero make, and I've never been an exception. It was supposed to be a simple case: find the client's deadbeat, cheating husband, collect money, and finally pay my rent. Turns out the wanker is a necromancer hell bent on destroying London. Turns out necromancers are only part of the problem in a city infested by vampires and demons. And magic cops aren't any better at cleaning them up than mundane ones. Then there's me, I'm no one special. Just the last line of defense. I'm out of luck and out of time. And to save my city, the decision I have to make is one I can't take back.

A Little News!

So, I told you I was working on The God Jars Trilogy, right? This is an M/M Sword & Board epic with magic Paladin-esque Holy-Warrior-Battlemage-Priest type guys and girls, an evil god, and tons of adventure. It's part coming-of-age, and a good heap of "must save the bad guy, or the world burns."

Turns out it isn't a trilogy.

Turns out I wrote an entire trilogy in the first "book".

Turns out I have a ton of rewrites to do, but that means making a tighter, more powerful, more cohesive story. And the rewrites are gonna be fun. :D Hopefully for both of us.

It also means the damned thing will be at least 6 books, if not nine or more. But, that makes it easier for me. Weird how that works, isn't it?

So, while I thought I was working on book 2, I was really working on book four. LOL Oops. And, if I'm going by normalized wordcount, and my penchant for writing 150k word monsters, at 60k, with a clear arc defined (that was supposed to be part 1 in book 2), book 4 is done. XD It just needs rewritten like the first three to make it a tighter whole.

What I want to know from YOU!

Would you want these published as I finish edits, or would you rather wait until an entire set is done (the first three books would be a set, for instance)?

Note that this may be one of those series that take a year between the ones I have finished, and the new ones being written. So, if you go this route, you may get the first three in monthly installments, then the next four months later, and the next perhaps 8-12 months later.

OR, I could get them all written, rewritten, edited, and drip them out one a month as final edits roll out until the series is finished.

This email tracks clicks. The buttons for this segment don't do anything special but register clicks. They both just go to different pages of my website so the clicks can be registered. So, choose which you prefer!

I want them as you finish them! Gimme! Gimme now! *Grabby Hands*
I don't want to wait forever for sequels! Take your time and finish them all first!

And that, my Dragonlings, is all I have for you this week. I hope your weekend is awesome. And, if you want to chat, hit reply to this email and send me a message, or join me and other Dragonlings in our Facebook Group. Sending much love your way!

All the best,

*Silently works on Sol'kyr's story arc for Kings of Kal'brath book four while tinkering with The God Jars* ...Now you know just how bad my brain's level of squirrel is. :P
