September 2017 Update from Author Lynnette Bonner

My Life this Month...

You all are so sweet! I want to say thank you for all the personal emails and responses I got to last month's email. My surgery was a success. I've had my stitches out, and am on the road to recovery, though I'm still not allowed to put weight on the foot. This makes...everything... interesting. :) My family has been awesome at helping me navigate this frustrating time.

And hey! It's football season! I love sports. How many of you are big sports fans? Who's your team? I've been happily cheering and groaning through many of the preseason games. (Go Hawks! ;) ) I confess that, growing up overseas, I didn't grow up with football - American football, that is. So there are still some obscure rules that I have to ask my hubby about sometimes, but like I said, I love to watch sports, so I'm in my happy place.

I hope the end of summer is treating you well and that you are all soaking in those last glorious rays before the onslaught of autumn. :)

Story World...

You can now find The Shepherd's Heart series on all Reading Platforms!

I'm happy to report that those of you who prefer to read books from platforms other than Amazon can now do so with my Shepherd's Heart series. And better yet? The first book of the series (a full-length novel) is entirely FREE on all sites. You can find many of the sites the books are on on my website here and you can also ask your library to order the books via Overdrive

This month I'm working on book 2 in the Wyldhaven series. I hope to reveal the cover in next month's newsletter. I love how it's coming along and can't wait to show it to you all!

From My Heart...

I think it is probably safe to say that we've all been watching the events in Texas in recent days with a lot of sadness and the desire to try and help where we can. I've been praying, but I also wanted to give toward an organization that was working to help in the area. Convoy of Hope is the organization I've chosen to give through. And if you, too, would like to give, I invite you to join me. Let us be love in action for those who have so much need right now.
