Hi ,

It's December, which means we'll shortly be taking a break from classes and we'd like to share with you some highlights from our year. Thank you for joining and continuing to support us through 2016!

2016 has been another exciting year for Southend Parkour and we hope students have felt their learning and movement have developed as much as we're seeing.

Over the last few months in particular approach and quality of movement has jumped (literally) up a gear and it's a team effort all around, hard-working coaches, enthusiastic students and the ever-supportive parents accompanying younger students; week after week. - We would like to thank you for all your hard work and support over the years and here's to 2017.

Our Year in Review:

  • Developed and delivered Launch day at Essex's FIRST Parkour Park at Hadleigh Park.
  • Delivered MANY sessions throughout the year to adults and children at the new Parkour par working closely with Hadleigh Park/Essex County Council
  • Developed and delivered our first 3 Beginners Courses to cater for the growing need of new students, each fully booked.
  • Started ages 5-7 year old classes for our Tiny Traceurs!
  • Women's Sport Week Ladies only workshop attend by new and more experienced female students.
  • Started a weekly beginners session for adults adding to the growing interest from adults.
  • Taking almost 2000 Bookings through our online system since January 1st 2016.

On a personal note, the above achievements are a team effort from all, whether, coach, student, parent or advocate of what we do as Southend Parkour.

Frankly it sounds near impossible to have done all this considering this year has included my partner Jenna bringing our son Jesse into the world, alongside the logistical nightmare that is moving into our first family home!

None of this would be possible without you all and in light of the season I wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for helping me start to realise my Parkour aspiration, sharing my love of movement, helping people realise the need for strong, capable movers and increasing the number of people who look at the world a little differently, seeing opportunity where other see limitations. - Thank you.
