You can download free ebooks from the comfort of your own home with your library card and the Libby App. One of our librarians will be teaching you how to download the Libby App as well as how to easily download ebooks straight to your Apple/Android devices.

Fall Children's Programs

Fall programs are starting soon at Tazewell County Public Library. Bring your kids to Story Time, Lego Club, Mother Goose and more! Tween Tech & Games and Readers’ Theater offer engaging and creative experiences for kids 8 & up. Teen volunteer opportunities are open to kids age 12 & up. Computer Classes

The Tazewell Main Library offers computer classes every Tuesday and Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. We teach a variety of classes, including Microsoft Word Basics, Introduction to Computers, and How to Make a Gmail Account. Fall Fest

Apples & Pumpkins & Scarecrows, Oh My! Join us for a story, crafts, snacks and games at the Tazewell Library on October 5 at 6:00pm. Wear your favorite farm hat and bandanna and pose for a picture with a scarecrow.

Join us Monday, September 18 at the Richlands Library to discuss "Hidden Figures" by Margot Lee Shetterly.

Sit 'n Stitch

We welcome anyone interested in knitting and/or crocheting, whether you are a novice or experienced.  Those who have needles, hooks, and yarn are encouraged to bring them; we will have limited materials available for those new to the craft.  Join us on Saturday, September 16 at 10am. Learn More
