Mentor Evening

Quest hosted a mentor evening for our January starters. It was such a lovely way for our Trainers and Alumni team to socialise with the students and their parents over a glass of wine.

A great opportunity to ask any questions, but more importantly to put a face to a name!

Lloyd's of London

More of our students went to Lloyd's of London this month, to learn about the ins and outs of the insurance industry. There was a tour of the building and a presentation by one of the Insurance Brokers. There is no better way to understand the industry than to see it in action!

The room this picture was taken in is the Adam Room, used by the Council of Lloyd’s; it is an adaptation of the original dining room of Bowood House, Wiltshire. Designed in 1763 by the Scottish architect Robert Adam, it was recreated in the new Lime Street premises in 1956 when large parts of Bowood House were demolished.

What a fascinating building.

Homemade Juice for sale!

One of our September Business Apprentice group decided to sell home made juices for Valentine's Day. The group were given a set budget and were tasked to create a business plan to make a profit!

Will you be my Valentine's?

Happy Valentine' of our Professional Diploma groups decided to sell these beautifully packed sweets to the rest of our students on Valentine's Day. This was in aid of Action for A-T.

Who wants cake?

Amelia Crawford baked her way to raising over £100.00 for Action for M.E. Amelia spent all weekend in the kitchen baking plenty of different cakes! It must be said, they were such a hit with all the Quest trainers and students! Amelia will be running the marathon this year, a huge good luck and we hope it goes well!

Jobs, Jobs, Jobs

It is always fantastic to hear that our students have secured new positions or promotions in the work place. Congratulations this month goes to Ellie Holt, Katherine Stacey, Katie Lee Robinson, Orla Cowell, Camilla Bartell, Lucie Earle, Laura Norwood, Stephanie Freestone and Heather Davey who have all successfully secured new roles this month.

Please remember if you would like any help or advice regarding moving roles, then please get in touch with our Student and Alumni Consultant Emma Colville

Guest Speakers

A big thank you to Deverell Smith, Anderson Hoare, Crone Corkhill - (interview presentation), Scott Dunn, Raymond James, Conde Nast who came in and talked to our students this past month. Also, a big thank you to all the recruitment companies who participated in our recruitment fair at Quest.

Talks and Recruitment Fairs help students to gain a greater insight into the different industries out there and to see what takes their fancy!
